Claudia Renee’s Biography

Claudia’s journey into the captivating world of pole dance began in 2009. From that first transformative class, she was hooked, and made the bold decision to turn her passion into a full-time career, sacrificing everything for the love of pole dance.

Embarking on her professional journey in Texas, she dedicated herself to perfecting her craft and competing in competitions around Texas, regularly gaining titles like “Miss Trixter”. In 2015, her dedication bore fruit as she won her first international competition. This triumph marked a turning point, propelling her to Los Angeles, where she took on the role of managing and being the head instructor at one of the most influential pole studios in the United States.

Her educational journey in pole dance includes certifications from XPert and Spin City as a pole and aerial instructor. Specializing in Basework & Fluidity, she found her niche, creating a space where pole and dance intersect seamlessly. This specialization is designed to make dance accessible to all, regardless of your dance background, fostering a sense of empowerment.

She’s had the privilege of contributing to various artistic endeavors. Claudia has choreographed for the movie “Hustlers," starring Jennifer Lopez, and played a key role in the Sonora Boots Campaign alongside Victoria Secret Model, Bianca Balti. Additionally, she took the lead in choreographing the “Orange Wine” music video for the talented artist and actress, Jasmine Savoy.

Claudia’s journey has been marked by collaborations with renowned personalities including actresses such as Constance Wu and Minka Kelly, leaving an indelible mark on their dance journeys. Another significant accomplishment in her career was teaching on platforms curated by world-famous dancers Nicole Kirkland and Kayla Brenda, bridging the gap between the dance and pole communities and earning pole dancers the recognition they deserve.

Since 2010, Claudia has been sharing her passion for pole dance across the globe. Having taught in nearly 20 countries, she has witnessed the universal appeal of this art form. In 2020, she took her teachings to new heights with the launch of Team Basework, her virtual pole studio that has rapidly grown into one of the largest pole movement platforms globally, boasting over 25 instructors worldwide. Team Basework's mission is to cater to movers who aspire to focus on dancing at the base of their poles. With a global community and a commitment to inclusivity, Team Basework continues to serve and uplift individuals who share a passion for the art of pole dance.
